Steel floor gratings must be fixed to the supporting structure to prevent lifting or movement. For this purpose, standard fixing accessories are used, available in stainless steel or galvanised steel.
Fixing set
The fixing set consists of four parts:
Upper part – butterfly clip or plate
Lower part – shaped sheet-metal pressing
M8 hex-head bolt – length 60, 70 or 80 mm
M8 square nut
Plate – the upper part of the fixing clip without washer and nut. The plate diameter is 53 mm, suitable for mesh sizes 30 × 30 mm and for M8 nuts.
All components are hot-dip galvanised in accordance with ISO 1461.
Fixing sets are supplied fully assembled.

This type of fixing accessory can be used for press-locked gratings as well as welded gratings SP with mesh sizes 33 × 33 mm and 34.3 × 38.1 mm.

Anti-slip nosing
Anti-slip nosing is commonly used for stair treads and gratings to improve slip resistance. When welded to the edge of the grating or stair stringer, it also increases the stability of the product. Supplied in steel without surface treatment.
